The sales gallery for In One, located in the Qingshan Lake Villa Zone in Hangzhou West Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, was designed to provide a unique and immersive experience for potential buyers. The sales gallery is converted from a series of row houses with numerous shear wall structures. We accept the challenge by creating a series of rooms to showcase the essence of the development through a tea wellness journey, where visitors can explore and engage with the space.

The use of light natural wood colours against the grey sandstone floor creates a harmonious and soothing atmosphere. The bespoke laser-cut wood pattern screen, inspired by traditional bamboo weave patterns, adds a touch of elegance and craftsmanship.

Upon entering the lobby, visitors are greeted by the sales team behind a raw wood log reception desk in a wide and double-volume space. The natural cleft limestone walls and patterned wood screen wall create a perfect backdrop to juxtapose with the wood log. The height of the space is enhanced by hanging tea leaf-shaped glass sculptures with gradual changing hues, represent the rich spectrum of roasted tea colours. They not only serve as visual focal points but also evoke a sense of serenity and contemplation. A reflection pool with the sound of water adds a calming element, helping visitors to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The exploration of the sales gallery begins with a humble small opening through a limestone wall. Here, visitors encounter a darker space where they can slow down and observe. The sound of water continues to cleanse and relax, while gentle light and shadow from the water ripples reflect onto the ceiling, creating a serene ambiance.

Visitors are then led into a dark room that focuses on a set of random glass hanging lamps. This room invites contemplation and observation of the light and shadow cast through the lamps onto the dark floor, in complete silence.

The journey progresses to a tea room featuring two full-height geometrically shaped lanterns on the sides. Here, visitors can pause and enjoy a freshly brewed tea prepared by a tea master. The dark blue tea room evokes the ambiance of an outdoor teahouse through the wooden pattern screen, with a view of an abstract metal full moon.

The next room along the journey is the “season trail.” It begins with an art installation showcasing five tree trunks adorned with seeds and moss floristry displays, represents growth, renewal, and the beauty of nature. The trail continues with a series of acrylic panels depicting abstract images of the nearby mountains, allowing visitors to imagine the beautiful spring and summer scenery while learning about our clients’s past projects displayed on the opposite wall.

The trail opens into a narrow and long bamboo garden with rhythmic wood pattern where the main sales hall is located. Models of the flats and the development are showcased on handcrafted wood stands. The ceiling is adorned with repetitive bespoke singing bowl ceiling lights, which are interrupted by random metal wireframe hanging lantern lights to highlight the large development model at the centre. It’s a space that captures the essence of the development, inviting visitors to envision themselves in this idyllic community, fostering a sense of harmony and connection with nature.

Once all the information about the development has been presented, guests continue along the second half of the trail, which represents the autumn and winter journey. It’s a celebration of the changing seasons and the natural beauty that surrounds the development. It concludes with an identical set of tree trunk installation at the end.

Visitors pass through and are greeted by staff in a tea bar framed by wood pattern screens subtly lit from below. Tea is served, and guests are invited to relax in one of the semi-private seating groups. The shear walls in this area are clad with wooden panels featuring either a minimal wall lamp or repetitive brass singing bowls. Pattern screens are placed against the windows to filter sunlight and frame the outdoor garden, creating a soft and gentle sitting area with an interplay of solid and space, light and shadow.

VIPs are guided upstairs via a dual-finished dark/light wood spiral staircase on a circular grey sandstone base. As they ascend, they can quietly appreciate the subtle rhythm of the hanging tea leaf sculptures at the entrance.

The two VIP rooms are located on the second floor, overlooking the entrance lobby. Here, guests can comfortably learn more about the development in a relaxed and private setting while maintaining a visual connection with the outdoors through the wood pattern screens.

The sales gallery invites visitors to embark on a journey of exploration, contemplation, and inspiration. Through the thoughtful design and attention to detail, it creates an immersive experience that leaves a lasting impression, connecting potential buyers with the essence and vision of the development.
